One of the factors that makes the Breast Cancer Alliance unique is our emphasis on face to face involvement with the people and organizations we fund. We strongly believe that a hands-on approach improves our understanding of the programs, makes the recipients more accountable and makes us better at determining which future grant proposals will benefit from our funding. See below for a peek at our visits to Thomas Jefferson University, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center; Beth Israel Medical Center/St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center, Continuum Cancer Centers of New York; the Norma F. Pfriem Breast Care Center at Bridgeport Hospital; Mount Sinai School of Medicine; and Yale Cancer Center.
