Betsy Donovan Nolan is employed by Shearman & Sterling, LLP.  Betsy has over 25 years of business development, marketing and strategy experience with financial services and technology industries. Previously, she was recruited to start up Ernst & Young's sales and marketing organization and she also served as a formal advisor to the firm’s Professional Women’s Network and the Diversity task force, which are focused on the recruitment, development and retention of women and minorities. Before that, Betsy was an executive with Xerox Corporation, responsible for leading sales, service and support in a variety of corporate and geographic positions. Betsy holds board and volunteer positions in a number of community and arts organizations, including the Junior League of Greenwich, Forte Foundation, Carter Burden Center for the Aging in New York City, and the Stanwich School. She resides in Old Greenwich with her husband Ed and son, Ford.
