Lile R. Gibbons
Lile R. Gibbons joined the advisory board in 2004. A 41-year resident of Greenwich and Old Greenwich, she is currently serving her fifth term in the Connecticut House of Representatives, 150th District, where she serves on the Transportation, Human Services and Finance Committees. Locally, she serves on the advisory boards of the Greenwich Community Center, the Greenwich Point Conservancy, Greenwich Magazine, the Garden Education Center, and the Junior League. She is also a trustee of the John A. Hartford Foundation in New York City. Lile was elected to three terms on the Greenwich Board of Education, and also served on the Connecticut State Board of Higher Education. She has volunteered in various capacities for the Childcare 2000 Advisory Council; Greenwich Library; Greenwich High School, North Street School, Greenwich Community Fund, Hortulus Garden Club; Selectman's Beach Task Force; Smith College Club of Greenwich-Stamford; and the United Way Planning Council.
