Carla Kidd joined the Board of Directors in 2010. She and her husband have lived in Greenwich since 1986 and have three adult children. A graduate of Smith College and Columbia University School of Business, she held a variety of management positions in finance and corporate planning at Exxon Corporation before becoming the Controller and Treasurer of Kidd and Company, a private equity firm. After leaving her for-profit career, and inspired by a family member's sleep disorder, Carla served on the Boards of the National Sleep Foundation, the Narcolepsy Network, and the National Organization for Rare Disorders. She has also held a variety of volunteer advisory positions at the National Institutes of Health's National Center for Sleep Disorders Research, the Harvard Medical School Division of Sleep Medicine, and the AERAS TB Vaccine Foundation Institutional Review Board. Locally, she is a Friend of the Greenwich Library, serving on the Flinn Gallery Committee Executive Board, and she is a sustainer liaison for the Junior League of Greenwich Education Task Force.
