Jill worked in broadcast television in Atlanta and marketing communications at several New York financial companies in the 1980s and ‘90s. She has served on the Board of Managers of the New York Junior League and the Parents Association Board of Brunswick School in Greenwich, where her sons, Peter and Charlie, are students. Jill is also involved with the Connecticut chapter of Make-A-Wish. She currently serves on the Duke University Annual Fund Executive Committee Advisory Board and was awarded the Charles A. Dukes Award for outstanding volunteer service to Duke in 2009. In 2010, Jill studied at the Emily Post Institute and launched a business promoting manners for children and adults with products and classes at www.lovelymanners.com. Jill earned her A.B. at Duke in Public Policy Studies in 1984. She grew up in Asheville, North Carolina, and now resides in Greenwich, with her two sons and husband, Daniel Ciporin.
