Judith Wertheimer

Judith Wertheimer joined the board of directors in January, 2006 as treasurer. She and her husband have lived in Greenwich for 18 years. She holds a Master's Degree in Library Science as well as a law degree. She practiced Corporate and Securities Law with Winston & Strawn and with Seyfarth, Shaw, Fairweather & Geraldson in Chicago, Illinois. She and her family then moved to Tokyo for several years where she served as Legal Advisor and Board Member of the Women's Group of the Tokyo American Club. After moving to Connecticut, she was a Lecturer in Business Law and a member of the Advisory Board of the NYU School of Continuing Education. Judith has been active in various organizations including Greenwich Country Day School, Rye Country Day School, Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, Kids in Crisis and the American Red Cross. She also served as a board member of the Greenwich Junior League for several years.
