Lisa Skinner
Lisa joined the Board in 2011. Early in her career, she and her family lived in London, where she held several senior management positions with American Airlines. Lisa’s volunteer activities include serving as President of the Brunswick Parents Association, working on the Westminster School Parent Leadership Committee and serving on the SMU Parent Leadership Committee. She is also involved in The Greenwich Academy Parents Association, Miss Porter’s Leadership Committee, The Junior League of London and Christ Church. She co-chaired the Breast Cancer Alliance Benefit Luncheon in 2009, has been a co-chair of the Hands Across the Avenue walk and works with the BCA One-to-One support group. Lisa and her husband Chip have lived in Greenwich for the last 12 years with their three children.
Lisa is a breast cancer survivor and was featured in One Woman’s Story in the 2010 Benefit Journal and quoted for the Richards October window display. Here are Lisa’s words: "Having been diagnosed in 2010, I am the very lucky recipient of all the great progress that has been achieved by the Alliance and other organizations devoted to curing this disease. I am proud to be part of an organization whose work I feel is so important."
