Susan K. Boolbol, MD

Susan K. Boolbol, MD is the Chief of Breast Surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center.

She attended medical school at The George Washington University in Washington, DC, and then completed her general surgery residency at The New York Presbyterian Hospital, Cornell University in 2000. After deciding to specialize in breast surgery, she pursued a fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.

Dr. Boolbol has been an instrumental part of the breast surgery team at Beth Israel. She is Director of the fellowship program, conducts the majority of the clinical research within the department, and has presented her research findings at both national and international conferences. She is the author of numerous journal articles and book chapters.

Dr. Boolbol has a very successful clinical practice which is devoted to the treatment of both benign and malignant breast disease. She currently resides with her family in Greenwich, Connecticut.
