David Rimm, MD
David Rimm, MD is a Professor in the Department of Pathology at the Yale University School of Medicine. He has an MD and a PhD from Johns Hopkins University Medical School and he completed his residency training in Pathology at Yale. He completed a cytopathology fellowship at the Medical College of Virginia and is board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Cytopathology. He has been on the faculty in the Department of Pathology at Yale since 1994. Dr. Rimm is Director of Yale Pathology Tissue Services and the Director of Medical Studies for the Department of Pathology. His lab group (15 researchers) focuses on quantitative pathology and the use of tissue biomarkers to predict patient outcomes. He is currently supported by seven grants from both public and private sources. He is an author of over 150 peer-reviewed papers and six patents and is the scientific founder of HistoRx, a digital pathology company.
